About Us

Pronounced JA-KA-NA, German Shepherds are our hobby and passion! We are located just out of Canungra, Gold Coast QLD on 10 acres! We are fastidious breeders with a goal to produce stellar German Shepherd Dogs clear in mind with excellent temperament, good looks and brains while adhering to the German Shepherd breed standard and following all relevant health testing including hips (A), elbows (Z) and breed classification. Our dogs are also fully DNA screened for hereditary diseases and we are transparent in releasing their results. We believe that the German Shepherd is to be raised, trained and worked as they were originally intended. We aim to import some of the best bloodlines from around Europe and operate on a small scale, only keeping one or two bitches whom are in work. Our puppies are suitable for a wide range of functions whether it be a family pet, for sport, security or government agencies. We are members of the ANKC (Dogs Australia), Dogs Queensland, German Shepherd Dog Club of Queensland, Working German Shepherd & Dogsport Club of Australasia, Working Dog Federation of Australia, Fenrir Sportdog Club and Gold Coast Sportdog Club. We actively train and compete in Dogsports (IGP) as a hobby and Daniel Jackson is a qualified IGP Helper.
